Can't beleive it's already month and half .. I had thought I would document a monthly post on my progress in this new paradigm of #nostr #lightning and #btc ..
- nostr has completely taken over my daily social quota. #Amethyst seems to meet all my needs on #Android .. super fast and responsive. On desktop browser , very impressed with #nostrudel for attention to details .. it is like a #superApp.
- for long form content yakihonne.com is by far the best client. You can curate multiple articles into a list that kinda acts as a table of content . Published my book to nostr through yakihonne.com to test out the curation capabilities .. it is probably the first book published exclusively to nostr .. not sure !
- stacked more than 30 k Sats :-) loving it !
- explored stacker news .. .. coming from hacker news , it is a better alternative. Simply cuz you stack sats . Everyone loves #Sats :-)
- totally blown away with #fountain podcast app. The #value4value model is awesome. You get paid for listening 😜 .. what else I had ask ?
- went through bunch of NIPS (on GitHub ).. kudos for building open standards .. feels like I am part of it .. positive energy ..same experience as #twitter back in 07 / 08 . Actually better !
- it is getting increasingly hard to use non-nostr web2.0 .. why do people still want me to sign in with google or Facebook :-) Feels like I moved far and the world is left behind .. so are most of my friends ..
- added #nostriChat ( thanks PABLOF7z) and lightning payment widget https://widgets.twentyuno.net/ to my static website https://gita.shutri.com .. I think every website should have these tools even if they are not a nostr client ..hybrid web.
- moved around 5k tweets from Twitter to nostr with exit.pub .. it took 24 hours for Twitter to give me my tweets and less than 24 minutes to load them to bunch of nostr clients with dates preserved ..amazing
- trying to get my hands on #brokenMoney but buying a book on #kindle feels so last century .. wish Lyn Alden published it on nostr .. I am sure she would get millions of zaps ( and good wishes ) .. did hear her podcast on " what bitcoin did " .. Peter McCormack is amazing host .. man has a way to get the guests talking without being intrusive or pushing his own ideas ..
