The (biggest) point of #bitcoin is to enable plebs acquire an asset : out of 8 billion people , less than 100 million own assets !
why ?
because there is a minimum threshold - you cant buy a fraction of a building .. even stocks are hard to acquire cuz of jurisdictions .. And ONLY assets appreciate .. so globe is being devalued as the wealth accumulates in less and less hands ..
A custodial lightning wallet allows anyone across the globe to earn #sats for (practically) zero fees .. so now you have created an asset and pathway accessible without barriers .. zero cost of acquisition and no minimum threshold ...
Sure rich will benefit more , they are already ... but you have opened the doors of free market to a global populace .. that is exactly why #nostr is even more important than #bitcoin .. #zap 8 billion people !
